Nearly every component used in the Yonge Street Window Installation was milled using the CNC Router in the DAS Wood Shop. Sheets of 8" by 4" plywood, MDF, and mirrored acrylic were cut down to the exact required dimensions and were designed to interlock for more efficient fabrication. Before milling started, every required component was precisely modelled, meaning that less time and material was wasted through trial and error.
