While responding to media inquiries, DAS students got the chance to introduce the pavilion to the surrounding community.



S'Winter Station - Family Day

On family day, the neighborhood community made use of the pavilion, achieving the competition's objective by demonstrating the adaptability of the local beach and the people of Canada during the seasonal transition from summer to winter.

S'Winter Station - Construction Day Two

Students were tasked with constructing and hoisting the second wing onto the support framework. After the wing was securely fastened to the structure, the pavilion gave the students shelter and offered breathtaking views of Lake Ontario via its apertures.

S'winter Station - Construction Day One

The main support structure and the pavilion's first wing were built by a group of DAS students on the first day on site. Although, the cold weather and snow were a challenge for construction, the students worked as a team and were determined to stay on schedule.
