Cumulus Clouds Leaves the Team Breathless

If one were to state that one of the installations consisted of capturing thousands of breaths from young men and women, there might be an HR (as in human rights) violation in the discussion. Fortunately the team was able to capitalize on the idea and used a combination of breaths and of course an air compressor.

And Brandon discovered the hilarity of lift operation...

Cumulus Cloud Fabrication & Installation

The Cumulus Cloud project started out with a limited budget, timeline, and resources but the [R]ed[U]x Lab team was able to keep a focus in developing interesting solutions to design challenges. Blending LED's, laser cut acrylic, and balloons, the team quickly brought their ideas to reality for the installation.

Cumulus Canopy Team at Work

As the design developed, the team of undergraduate students in [R]ed[U]x Lab got into the design and fabrication of the Cumulus Canopy project for the Chang School Talks 2016. The team was eager and made a concerted effort to refine the details as the project proceeded given the tight timeline.

Cumulus Canopy Intro to the Space

In the hubbub of fabrication and activity within the winter term, part of the [R]ed[U]x Lab led by Brandon took on the Chang School installation in the Vari Engineering building for the second annual Chang School Talks at Ryerson University. As a veteran member of R]ed[U]x Lab on several previous projects, Brandon had a limited time frame, budget, and resources but his experience and leadership on the project made for a great feature installation for the descent into the main activity space.
