This evening the [R]ed[U]x Lab team completed the base assembly of the counter and base of the cart. Though much of the structure of the base will be clad with ply strips (as outlined in the mockups, models, and sketches), the optimization and lateral stability of the framework was meticulously worked out within a digital parametric model. Here are some images of the counter and framework of the base in progress.
