Students focused on installing the exterior stained wood cladding, polycarbonate windows and skylights, and the sliding barn door. Students experienced small unexpected design detailing challenges while onsite. For instance, to prevent water from entering the interior, students had to figure out how to flash the polycarbonate away from it. While maintaining the original design and the structural integrity of the building, the students overcame this challenge and offered spontaneous solutions.
