The evening has just begun and an hour into the 2013 Nuit Blanche, the [R]ed[U]x Lab teams at the Bata Shoe Museum have transformed several of its spaces into completely different, immersive, and interactive environments. Whether dealing with the swirling light tubes atop the manufactured terrain of RevitaLight, the tactile play available with the illuminated Light_Scape installation, or the acoustic play within the enclosure in the Ad Astra piece, visitors have so far had nothing but positive things to say about the works. If the images taken during the first hour of this year's Nuit Blanche are any indication of what's to come this evening, it looks like the Bata Shoe Museum will be quite a focal point for this year's Nuit Blanche!
Congratulations to all the [R]ed[U]x Lab teams for all their hard work - it clearly has paid off! Thanks again to all the support from Ryerson University, the Department of Architectural Science, the Faculty of Communication and Design, the Design Fabrication Zone, Bata Shoe Museum, and of course the great team of volunteers who made these projects possible!
