The fabrication team as begun assembling the chair, combining both the plywood pieces and the fabric material. Starting from the chair's foot and progressing towards the back, the assembly process thoughtfully incorporates the upholstery between each wooden segment, ensuring optimal comfort for anyone seated.
Students were tasked with the opportunity from Media Architecture Biennale to collaborate alongside Urban Visuals with equipment from StrongLED. The aim was to provide an immersive learning experience, exploring the basic functions and possibilities of light art.
Initial sketches served as the basis for the schematic process, which developed into polished schematic drawings and renders that captured the envisioned concept.
The students welcomed the chance for improvement after the initial presentation of the schematics to the Camp Winston members. Through a collaborative effort, they implemented design modifications that not only addressed the panel's suggestions but also elevated the overall quality and functionality of the project. The playground brings hierarchy and progression through the sequential introduction of towers that helps the children in directing the interactions and connections.
