2023 Winter Stations - Test Renders
As the design team comes closer to modelling the joints and tectonic details of the canoe shell structures, initial renders were explored in order to show how these aggregates will come together to form the complete 2023 Winter Stations project. This imagery contextualizes how the project deals with the theme of radiance through form, materiality, and spatial interaction.

2023 Winter Stations - Early Stage Prototyping Version 3
Early Prototyping Version #3:
Based on the Version 2 Prototype from last week, the 2023 Winter Stations design team explored the options of creating canoe shells which differed in scale, height, and diameter. The team ran into some issues with the sizing of members, some being unable to connect from top to bottom of the structure. While closer to finding a tectonic solution which resolves the project's theme of radiance, the designers are still working on sizing the different components so that they may interlock and form a complete canoe shape.
